Why does the mirror describes itself as 'The eye of a little gog , four cornered????

1.Why does the mirror describe or compares itself with the eye of a little god , four cornered?? 2.What does the speaker mean by 'unmisted by love or dislike'??

The mirror insists it is only telling the truth, reflecting back what is instead of what is imagined. If the mirror were to lie, the reflection would be dishonest. The mirror shows what it sees, good or bad.
