David is Melinda's biology lab partner. He is smart and assertive. Mr. Neck makes xenophobik remarks about how the border of the United States should have been closed to imigrants in the 1900's. David threatens to sue the school and Mr,.Neck must behave. It is ironic that a student has to force a teacher to abandon his racist and "fake facts".
