What are all the mascots that merry high school have debated about adopting this year? (list) why was each option dropped?

The debate centres around changing the mascot from Trojans to Blue Devils. Apparently the powers at be felt that Merryweather High, Home of the Trojans, didn't send a strong abstinence message. There was the Merryweather Tigers but the ecology club frowned on an endangered. There was also the bees, icebergs, wombats....
