Explain how David pertrakis challsnges Mr.Neck?

Mr. Neck is not a great teacher and he is bigoted as well. He blames immigrants for his son not getting a job. He believes that immigration should have been stopped in 1900. . One day David Petrakis, Melinda's lab partner, stands up and challenges Mr. Neck by proclaiming that "The Constitution does not recognize different classes of citizenship based on time spent living in the country…As a student, I am protesting the tone of this lesson as racist, intolerant and xenophobic."
