At first Melinda thinks her art assignment was too easy. How does her opinion change over time?

Melinda comes to realize that in order to create her tree is has to look real. She wants it to look real.... she wants it to come alive. Unfortunately, she thinks that all of her attempts are either too juvenile or the tree simply doesn't look as if it's alive. Drawing a tree.... a true replica of a tree.... is more difficult than she'd believed.
