What do the characters in Songs of Innocence and of Experience learn as they gain experience?

For this essay I have to write I need to talk about what some characters learned as the book progresses and they gain experience but it's all short poems so I'm having trouble finding out good things to talk about. Anything will help even basic ideas and I can take it from there. Thanks.
