Skellig

1. Michael is lonely, unhappy and worried at the beginning of the play. How does his discovery of Skellig help to change that as the text goes on? Explain what differences Skellig makes to Michael’s life.

Meeting Skellig give Michael a purpose. Michael is living in a new home, and as a result, he is lonely. He is also saddened by his baby sister's hospitalization. Caring for Skellig allows Michael to show his compassion and to channel his emotions into doing something good.
