Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

What is the ultimate result of all of the testing that Gawain has undergone? What does that mean for Gawain and Arthur’s court?

The testing has caused Gawain great grief.... he is, if only to himself disgraced. King Arthur's court is unfazed.... and the celebrate Gawain as an honorable knight.
