Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

What is the significance of the three hunts? What is being hunted? What parallels do you see between the hunts and the visits of the lord's wife?

The three hunts mark the three days of Gawain's stay. The lord's wife's visits parallel her husband's hunts and are utilized to both tempt and dishonor Gawain using seduction.
