Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

Using the example of Sir Gawain, explain whether it is more important to achieve goals or to learn from mistakes?

In the case of Sir Gawain, I believe it's more important to learn from our mistakes. Gawain, and the rest of the court are set up and tricked from the beginning. In some ways, Gwain passed the test, in other ways he failed. When he returned to Camelot, the most important things he brought with him were the lessons he learned.
