A Rose for Emily

What three elements of ambiguity in the story are cleared up by the discovery of Homer Barron’s corpse in her house after her death? What action on Emily’s part is explained by the clarification of these three points?

The elements that are cleared up are the reason Miss Emily wished to purchase poison, the reason for Homer Barron's disappearance, and the smell that permeated from Miss Emily's home.

This also explains that Miss Emily poisoned Homer in order to keep him from leaving.
