A Rose For Emily and Other Short Stories

. Despite the story’s confusing sequence, many events are foreshadowed. Give some examples of this technique. How does foreshadowing enrich the story?

I think the most important foreshadowing is that the blinds on the carriage they ride around in are "drawn" (indicating something not "right" about their relationship) and that Home indicated that he liked the "boys" with whom he socialized suggesting that perhaps he was not going to be true to Miss Emily. Also the fact that she kept her father's body for three days hints that perhaps she would keep other bodies (Homer's) for an even longer period of time.
