Dexter's interest in Judy has as much to do with fulfilling his own aspirations, as it does to his attraction to her. Dexter is no longer smitten, but rather, determined. He doesn't want Judy merely because she has a pretty face, but rather, because she has status. Dexter doesn't want a relationship... he wants to possess.
