    What is the biggest tragedy of James?

    James finds himself in a fix because he is born a boy, but he feels that he is a girl. His parents and society know that James is a talented and well-mannered boy adored by other children in the community. However, James struggles with an identity crisis, and he does not want anybody to know his predicaments. Besides being physically a boy, James feels that he is feminine. James is not alone in this identity crisis because many people in the same situation are shy to share their feeling openly. Society is unjust because it is quick to judge and condemn to say that they are transgender openly.

    James’ transition from a male to a female is a story of courage and determination. James knew that living as a man was hypocritical in his life because his feelings were different. James did everything to distract himself from the feeling of transitioning into a woman. After joining college, James got new friends, which plays a big role in keeping him busy and occupied with his feminine thinking. Later, James a big step in marrying Grace, and with time they were blessed with a child. James's family looked perfect, and everybody thought that James was okay. However, James was not happy internally because he knew that he was living a lie. James believed that he was a woman despite his male body. One day, James decided to choose to live his desire and happiness. Therefore, James told his wife about his feelings and his decision to change into a woman through surgery. It was hard for Grace to accept, but she chose to support James to get his happiness. James went to surgery, and he transformed his gender into a woman. Consequently, James’ decision to transform into a woman was a big act of courage.

    Did society accept James after transforming from a man to a woman named Jennifer through surgery?

    Ironically, James’ transition from a man to a woman was warmly welcomed by the entire society. Now, Jennifer, she accepted by her family unconditionally. Jennifer, Grace, and their son lived harmoniously. In the workplace at Colby, Jennifer was accepted and appreciated by all the colleagues without any discrimination. Jennifer maintained her sense of humor and good working relationship with her fellow employees, and they all accepted her decision to become a woman. The love Jennifer received was unconditional. Therefore, the author is passing a vital message to society that they should be tolerant and accept people the way they are. The transgender issue in society is not publicly discussed because it is viewed as a curse. However, the author stresses the significance of transgender coming out openly and live the life they want.
