One dramatic element would be the way in which Shakespeare arranged his characters. One triangle was the poet-friend-mistress; the other, poet-friend-rival poet.

Another dramatic element would be the structure of the sonnets. They are very personal and might possibly be autobiographical. No one knows for sure.

Lastly, different types of drama can be found throughout the sonnets in regards to the way the speaker handles different situations. Relational problems abound from one sonnet to the next, and the speaker's mood and tone dramatically reflect his internal angst (or joy).
