Both the book and the movie shared importance for similar and different reasons. The theme of the holocaust is very important, even today. Generations who did not grow up during this time need to be reminded about the atrocities. The story is based on historical events within the framework of a captivating story. Spielberg’s film was also a landmark film for many reasons. Cinematography, acting, and, screenplay were all done exceedingly well.
