Schindler's List

Is the focus of the film narrower or broader than the novel? In other words, do we get a greater sense of events beyond Krakow, Plaszow, and Brinnlitz in Spielberg's film or in Keneally's novel?

Spielberg did his best to represent the book within the confines of a film. I think the cinematography definitely did justice to the imagery of the book. Characters and certain historical facts were adapted to keep the narrative flow of the film. Really, one could write a lot about this but doing a general search on the Internet of the book compared to the movie would be a good place to begin.
