I do NOT like this play. I know, it's a love story and all that happy stuff, but Romeo is such an idiot that I cannot see him as any kind of hero. The guy can't make any decision without running to Friar Lawrence. He is too wimpy to simply stand up to his family and proclaim his love for Juliet and if they don't like it, too bad. He and Juliet sneak around and end up killing themselves rather than fighting for their life together. What dummies. This relationship could be the one catalyst for a reconciliation between the Montagues and Capulets, but Romeo-the-wimp just can't make it happen.
