What could happen if Romeo does not attend the party?

If Romeo hadn't attended the Capulat party, he likely wouldn't have fallen in love with Juliet. Romeo probably would have continued in his deep depression over Rosaline; Juliet would have married Paris, and they'd both be alive at the play's conclusion.
