Romeo and Juliet the play

Aristotle cites the plot as the most important characteristic of the tragedy play. This play's plot is based upon the characters mistakes and shortcomings, thus, their mistakes are tragic.....
1st..... we have starcrossed lovers, that should be your first hint
2nd..... we have Romeo's impetuous behaviors. He rushes off torpedoes be damned, and Juliet, she sees suicide as a solution. Were they victims of fate and youth? Of course they were, but the tragedy comes in their poor choices. Everyone can claim youthful mistakes, but these two were playing the games of adults and even being treated as adults by the adults.
