Friar Lawrence meant well but is plan was not the best. He thought that buy marrying the two star crossed lovers that he could end the ancient feud between the two families. I would have not married them if I were the Friar. These two kids were way too impulsive and immature to get hitched. Their reasons for marriage and forethought lacked any common sense. Friar Lawrence was both a councillor and an adult, he should have known better.
