Romeo and Juliet shows a love that is so passionate and so "quick" that the main characters have no time to think through their actions. The parents think of love as a simple arrangement between rich families. The young lovers feel the passion and the inherent ecstasy that goes along with being 13 and 17. This feeling is one they have never felt before and it is so glorious to them that they can see or feel nothing else.
