Hhow do the officers and citisens feel about the fighting in their own town?

The officers and general citizens are tired of all the fighting between the gangs of young men belonging to the Capulet and Montague families. The Prince sums this frustration up pretty well:

Have thrice disturbed the quiet of our streets. And made Verona's ancient citizens . Cast by their grave-beseeming ornaments....Act 1 sc 1
