Romeo and Juliet

Do you disagree or agree that capulet does not really care about juliet; he treats her like something to be sold, provide evidence.

I have no doubt that Capulet loved his daughter, but in order for you to understand his actions.... you have to understand the time. During this period in history, girls did not choose their husbands, their families chose them. Marriage was not based upon love..... it was based on politics. Furthermore, in this patriarchal society, Juliet might not have agreed with her father's decisions, but she would have abided by his wishes.
