Romeo and Juliet

After reading the prologue to Act 2, what stands out to you the most? What do you think the purpose of this prologue is?

I think this is asking for your opinion rather than mine. I found Romeo's impulsiveness stand out the most. He is obsessive and intense with what he considers as "love". His reckless actions look like a "train wreck" that is about to happen. The Prologue is meant to inform and give context to the audience about what happens in the play. Shakespeare is interested the performance rather than the end result in his tragedy.
