Basically Romeo feels that even forbidden love can still have the power to conquer any obstacles. Romeo insists that his love for Juliet will protect him from any violence the Capulets can offer,

Alack, there lies more peril in thine eye
Than twenty of their swords. Look thou but sweet,
And I am proof against their enmity.
