Why do mama and papa NOT want the logan children to go to the wallace's store

It was the Wallace brothers who burned the Berrys. The store also charges high interest on loans to black farmers. They are also in league with Mr. Granger. There is also drinking and gambling going on there. 

She doesn't want them at the Wallace store because they drink, smoke, and dance.
