The central message is that appearance can be deceiving. Cory seems to have it all.... the looks, the money, the opportunites, and yet.... the man is miserable. In the end,this admired man takes his own life.... obviously, no one has looked hard enough to see what's going on behind the windoe dressings they so admire.
