Story: "The Veldt"

What point of view does the author use? Is it effective here?

The story is told in third-person limited omniscient. This allows the narrator room to explore many of the characters periodically entering George's mind to give us some context. This is effective because the reader can see how dysfunctional the relationship is between parents and children.
