Story: "The Veldt"

I can't speak to your experience. I think this story is very appropriate for today. Our increased reliance on technology, like cell phones, has increasingly left us more isolated and emotionally disconnected than ever before. Many people rely on text and social media for relationships and entertainment. The work of actually going to physically see people has taken a back seat to superficial interactions om-line. People also rely on "instant information" that might not be correct rather than researching what is true.
