Why is the appearance of Hermes so disturbing to Priam and to Somax?

Priam and Somax are more disconcerted that disturbed. Somax is upset that Orchilus knows so much about his family. His anger is visible. When Priam realizes that their guide is actually Hermes in disguise.... the discomfort level increases.
