What is Didacticism, and what does Shaw think of didacic art?

Didactic art is meant to teach people something. In Shaw's case, he wanted to consider the problems caused by "common" language and how language can separate classes and types of people in a given area or town. He also wanted to explore class structure and the hypocrisy of those who exploit others.
