Pygmalion

In the book Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw does Shaw’s sympathies lie with the lower or upper classes?

How can you tell?

Shaw is a socialist and against the class system. We see this in the way he shows the strict boundaries of class, Eliza's inability to move between classes, and dialect.... the way one speaks as a deterrent and audible proof of one's heritage.
