Eliza believed that she'd won because of her pride because she did everything asked of her but never conceded her own moral values in the wininng. She took nothing, she kept nothing..... she walked away from Higgins exactly the way she came to him, except for the language and deportment that she'd learned...... note, Higgins and Pickering did the teaching, but it was Eliza's desire and willingness to learn that made her a winner.
