Purple Hibiscus

Is there a significant antagonist in Purple Hibiscus?

Just as Kambili is the protagonist in the story, who is the obvious antagonist as in relation to the plot of the novel?

In my opinion, Eugene, Kambili's father, would be the story's main antagonist, as his hypocrisy and abuse of his family comes into light over the course of the novel. Respected and admired by his countrymen, Eugene's authoritative stance in his home is the biggest reason for the disintegration and alienation of his family.
