Lady Catherine is a dominant figure. She is powerful, overbearing, insists upon having things her own way..... and to be kind, she's extremely bossy. None-the-less, Lady Catherine is also proper, well mannered, and definitely class conscious.

Mrs. Bennet, on the other hand is silly, rude, sometimes vulgar, and would be considered a social climber (in reference to marrying off her girls). Sadly, Mrs. Bennet isn't very smart and consistently makes social blunders, which often reflect on her daughters and embarrass her husband.
