Pride and Prejudice

In the turning point conversation between Elizabeth and Darcy, how do Elizabeth and Darcy explain to one another (and themselves) their changes of heart after their first impression and after Darcy's awkward and first profession of affection for Lizzie?

Many people feel the climax is Mr. Darcy’s proposal to Elizabeth (Volume 3)I tend to think the turning point is when Elizabeth discovers that Wickham is full of (rhymes with mitt) and discovers that there is indeed more to Mr. Darcy than she first thought.
