I think everybody essentially got what they wanted and perhaps deserved at the conclusion of the novel. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy do find each other through the labyrinth of Victorian social order and, of course, their own pride and prejudices. All The Bennet sisters get married which I suppose was the point for the parents. There is money and social stature in it for the parents and the girls, more or less, found what they were looking for.
