    Tennyson vs. Byron

    Kind of Activity:

    Group Work

    Objective:

    Students will compare two literary figures mentioned in the text.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.10

    Structure:

    Begin by dividing students into groups of 4-5. Groups will start by reading two poems: "She Walks In Beauty" by Lord Byron, and "Ulysses" by Tennyson, found below.
