Truth and Rhetoric in Phaedrus

Truth and Rhetoric in Phaedrus: does Plato deny that rhetoric can ever be used for truth? Can it?

Plato does not necessarily deny the value of rhetoric for the sake of truth. He wrote in creative dialogues, after all. More specifically, Plato seems to abhor the relativistic tendencies of the Sophists because their teaching enterprise is based on making money.
