Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood

What does Marjane Satrapi have to say about modern imperialism?

It is shown on page 11 where we see Satrapi's views on America, Britian, and the meaning of modern impearialism. Basically, she shows her thoughts as Uncle Sam and a British army leader lead a pack of armed murders into Iran (what we can infer). This shows why/how Iran hates America and Britian.

According to the introduction, Satrapi sees the imperialism of the United States and Great Britain as invaders..... invaders only interested in securing their own iinterests in Iran's oil supplies.
