Mrs. Nassrin was the cleaning lady but also crushed grapes in a bathtub. She would crush the grapes and repeat "God forgive me". Her actions are symbolic of the duality that comes about in an oppressive theocracy. She wants to be part of the fun but feels guilty at the same time.
