What did you find most surprising, humorous or thought-provoking in Gladwell's book? Any "ah-ha!" moments? Any-thing strike you as dubious? Have you come away thinking differently than before? What, if anything, do you feel you've learned?
Again, this really depends on how you feel rather than my own feelings. I think that the themes of privilege and cultural heritage play a large role in what many people regard as "success". Being born in a first world country generally, but not always, gives people an edge over being born in a developing country. Being born into money and having a cultural heritage (Skin color, religion....) that is accepted in society helps to foster success.
