Our Sister Killjoy implies that Sissie is a young girl who does not have any intention of adoring the Europe who is so desperate to come to terms with her people in Ghana. She is a "killjoy" who spoils the fun of rich Europeans who hope to impress her and show her that Europe can be a place of openness to difference.
