Othello, Act 3

What has become of Cassio’s hope to appeal to Othello through Desdemona by the end of Act 3? And, how does Desdemona view her relationship with Othello?

Cassio hopes to appeal to Othello through his wife. He feels that because of their relationship, Othello will listen to the appeal and make Othello understand there is no reason for discourse.

By the end of the third act, Desdemona is well aware that her husband has changed, though, she does not understand how or why. Othello frightens her; his tone is both scary and offensive; his actions are mean and accusatory.
