Iago is determined to play the villain when Brabantio calls him a villain on line 118. What is is primary motivation to play villain?

This is up to speculation. Iago says he feels slighted by Othello but we are never sure why his hatred for Othello burns so deep. I think Iago merely wants to unleash chaos: that is his role.
