Oliver's fate is to end up with his family. (fitting)

Nancy is murdered by Sykes. (not fitting)

Sykes dies by hanging. We're not sure whether it was intentional, but it was definitely fitting.

Fagin is arrested by authorities and sentenced to death. (fitting, although I'd bet had there been a sequel, he would have escaped).
