Bromlow welcomes Oliver into his home and caters to his every whim. Oliver has a bed of his own, clean clothing, and Mrs. Bedwin to take care of him. He's nursed, coddled, and worried over like a treasured guest. In contrast, Oliver is welcomed back to Fagin's with everyone stealing his things and a bearing when he tried to run away.
