What does the boss suspect George of doing to Lennie? What makes him think this?

The boss thinks that George is taking advantage of Lennie (possibly taking his wages) and does not understand that George is simply taking care of him (physically and emotionally). The boss thinks there might be something suspicious going on until George explains it to him.
