Of Mice and Men

of mice and men

based on the novel Steinbeck uses, including the description of the bunk house, how would you describe the living and working conditions of the men who work on the ranch? how would you describe their relationship to their boss, Curley's father?

The conditions on the ranch were certainly not fancy but they did meet the men’s' basic needs. The bunkhouses were swept and kept clean by Candy. They were given enough to eat and had the evenings to themselves. The men generally thought the Boss was stern but fair. They tried to stay clear of Curley, the boss's son, who was erratic and looking for an excuse to fight.
